First check the node return value and error output pin, then check the Unreal Output Log, then test the same operation in a packaged Development build when the feature depends on real Windows runtime behavior.

Plugin Installation

Install Windows Native Toolkit from GitHub or Fab and enable it in Unreal Engine 5.4 through 5.7.

Suspect a bug?

The plugin says it was built for another Unreal version

C++ build fails on addrinfo, getaddrinfo, freeaddrinfo, or inet_ntop

Command or PowerShell opens a visible window

Admin command does not capture output

File delete, move, or folder-size scan returns false

Config value or config array nodes return false

Native dialog or picker does nothing outside Windows

Public IP, ping, DNS, or downloads fail in packaged builds

Audio device volume or mute fails

Display mode changes black screen or revert unexpectedly

Bluetooth list is empty
